My technical knowledge helps me to understand technical documents. Prior to starting life as a translator I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from UCL. I then obtained a General Scholars Certificate in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing. After that I earned a Master’s Degree in Scientific, Technical and Medical Translation from Imperial College London.
Based in West London, I have worked as a freelance translator for many years now. A large portion of my translation projects are technical in nature. In particular I have a good grasp of electronics, communications, product design and product user manuals, engineering documents, architecture and construction documents and patents and intellectual property.
