Not sure why but this last few days has seen a huge increase in traffic in Ealing. There are quite a few road repairs going on around my office/house, and also some digging is happening on Uxbridge Road.
Also for the first time in ages, I saw an illegally parked car on Uxbridge Road get a ticket. That’s honestly the first time, and it’s really annoying because in the evenings there are always cars blocking the traffic island. Will be good if they actually enforce that, as it’s dangerous. Up to now they seem to focus on giving tickets to safely parked cars who didn’t read the signs properly, rather than dangerous cars. The exact opposite of what should happen.
